PHOENIX LPGA TOURNAMENT SEEKS VOLUNTEERS
January 13, 2004 - Phoenix, AZ
Volunteers are being sought for the upcoming Safeway International LPGA golf tournament, scheduled for March 18-21, 2004 at Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club in the southeast valley.
The popular metro Phoenix golf tournament is now in its 22nd year. It traditionally attracts 98-to-100 of the world’s best ladies golfers and is considered among the strongest fields on the LPGA Tour. It is also one of the top sporting events in Arizona.
Caddies are needed for the tournament’s pro-am events that are scheduled for March 15-16, and for a variety of operational activities throughout tournament week. Individuals wishing to volunteer must be at least 18 years of age.
