Charity All proceeds benefit local charities through The Safeway Foundation, with the major designated beneficiary being Banner Health Foundation Cancer Programs. The Safeway International has contributed more than $11 million over the last 26 years, with $925,000 donated in 2006. 2007 donation will be announced later in 2007.
